I completed my undergraduate coursework at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), in Philadelphia, PA and graduated with the highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) in Biochemistry. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Boston to begin my training as an MD/PhD student at Tufts University. I've completed close to three years of work towards my medical degree (MD) and just over three years of work towards my PhD (Neuroscience). Although I will my receiving my PhD in Neuroscience, my research draws heavily on Biochemistry, Immunology, and Microbiology, so my training has equipped me with a strong and broad foundation in the biomedical sciences.
During my training at Tufts, I've served as a tutor for Medical students in subject areas of Biochemistry and Microbiology. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I scored a cumulative 35 on the MCAT with a 14/15 in Biological Sciences.
