Hey! My name is Zachary and I am buffalo native. I majored in International Business and Spanish in college. My junior year of college I studied abroad in Colombia for over 14 months. I have now worked using Spanish professionally, and overall it is a big part of my life! I have had success tutoring because I love Spanish, and I started learning in college so I really had to learn how to learn the language. This is a big advantage for my students because I can relate to them, and help them overcome whatever challenges they are having.
I have a lot of tricks that helped me learn quickly, and when I tutor I really emphasize understanding the language conceptually, a part from memorizing words and conjugations. Overall, I really enjoy tutoring, and I base the lessons on what the student wants to learn. Feel free to contact me at anytime!
I have a lot of experience with speaking Spanish. I lived in Colombia and I use Spanish in my work setting.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
