Hello there! My name is Debo, and I'm a professional vocalist and composer/arranger seeking to push the boundaries of the perception of the human voice.

After receiving my diploma from the New England Conservatory Prep School in classical voice, musical theater, and music theory, I attended and am now a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston with a dual major in classical composition and vocal performance. I currently perform in various styles, including jazz, RnB, pop, rock, soul, funk, gospel, classical, and musical theater.

With my work taking off after finishing school, I have had the honor of performing at such venues as the Blue Note Jazz Club, Symphony Hall, and the Kennedy Center, also touring extensively in the United States, Japan, Canada, and Russia. I've been blessed to collaborate with many expert musicians, namely Bobby McFerrin, Hal Crook, and Julius Williams. I'm also a commissioned composer for the Canvasounds Composer Collective in Boston.

Within voice lessons, I create a haven in which you can identify your vocal needs on a personal basis. I'll provide you with the necessary techniques to educate yourself, whatever your level of study may be. These include breath support/control, tone quality, interpretation, song study, genre/style analysis, diction/speech training, and performance techniques.

Within music theory lessons, I will reinforce your knowledge of music, building upon it with song/piece study. Sight-reading, beginner to intermediate piano, harmony, and ear training are techniques you can look forward to acquiring.

My lessons are guaranteed fun, and an amazing opportunity to stretch out your musical capabilities!

Please keep in mind my 24-hour cancellation policy, in order to ensure a smooth lesson plan.

~I look forward to helping you! And always remember, to thine own voice be true. Let me bring out the best in you!~
