About Jaclyn

Hi, my name is Jaclyn and I'm a sophomore at Northeastern University studying political science, international affairs, and Arabic. I take part in many clubs like UNICEF, Room to Read, and Mural Club. I'm also the Head International Section Editor of the Northeastern University Political Review Magazine. I love reading and writing and am very interested in international current events and politics. Some day I hope to work for an international organization that provides humanitarian aid to citizens of countries in conflict. I figure there's no reason to wait until I graduate to start helping people, so I decided to become a tutor!

In addition to my knowledge of and passion for the humanities, I also possess a background in math and science; I attended High Technology High School, a pre-engineering academy in New Jersey recently ranked by Business Insider as the #1 public school in the United States. My areas of knowledge are varied, including writing, PSAT/SAT prep, research, Arabic, politics, statistics, history, Spanish, and more. My past employment includes a six-month internship at Currents Magazine, where I served as an editor and writer for this New Jersey lifestyle publication. I served as an SAT tutor during my high school years, and I would love to help any student looking to improve their comprehension and skills in a variety of subjects!
