Hello students and families! My name is Kaiming and I am a Harvard trained resident physician in the Boston area. Throughout my years of extensive education and training, I've had experiences teaching and mentoring students at every level, from elementary and middle school kids through medical students preparing for their licensing boards. Both my own results as well as those of my mentees have been excellent!
Whether you're looking for a role model to help your child build good study habits, someone to help you plan your MCAT or USMLE study plan, or to buff up for the SAT, I hope you will give me the opportunity to make a difference in you and your family's approach to learning and education. My approach focuses heavily on testing mentality and strategy. For most multiple choice standardized exams, the key to scoring well is often knowing how to approach the test strategically rather than hundreds of hours of brute force memorization. This results in less stress, more enjoyment, and better results for students!
My personal credentials are below:
SAT Math - 800
SAT Verbal - 780
SAT II Writing - 800
SAT II Biology - 800
ACT - 36
MCAT - 36P
United States Medical Licensing Exam Steps 1 and 2 (268, 250)

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've tutored elementary school students with reading, writing, and math in the past with a tutoring agency. This involved all levels of elementary math from basic arithmetic to the beginnings of pre-algebra for advanced track 6th graders.
I took the MCAT in 2007 and received a mark of 36P. I've tutored numerous MCAT students including with the Princeton Review.
I'm a licensed physician and have much experience with the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of a wide range of medications.
