Lesley University - M.Ed. program (Graduate Coursework)
I am currently a teacher in a Boston Public school and I teach supplementary Math, English Language Arts, and Life Skills classes. I am comfortable with students of all different needs and I love to get to work one-on-one with kids. My undergraduate studies were in English - Creative Writing, and Communications and I currently teach prealgebra and algebra level math so I am enthusiastic and able to teach all of these classes. Finally, I taught Citizenship and beginning ESL in college, so I feel comfortable with these topics as well.
I can also teach all parts of the SAT and MCAS!
In addition to my teaching experience, I have a Master's in Education from Lesley, so I'll be able to meet your student in his or her own learning style and adapt the content to his or her needs.
Feel free to contact me if you would like more information or references!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
