Hello! My name is Katherine and I am currently a Special Education Teacher in Milford, MA. I graduated in 2016 from The University of Connecticut with my Masters Degree in Special Education. I currently teach 2nd grade, however, I have experience working with all students grades preK-5. Hello! My name is Katherine and I am currently a Special Education Teacher in Milford, MA. I graduated in 2016 from The University of Connecticut with my Masters Degree in Special Education. I currently teach 2nd grade, however, I have experience working with all students grades preK-5.

I love to help students develop a love for learning like my own through fun, interactive lessons and plenty of educational games and activities. I am available most days after 3:15pm for tutoring services

I am currently utilize the Wilson Fundations Phonics program in a small group setting and enjoy finding fun and creative ways to explicitly teach phonics features in order to improve reading and writing.

I am well versed in common core math standards as well as curriculum programs such as Everyday Math. I have experience in grades 1-5.

I'm very excited for the opportunity to talk with you about your child's individualized needs and how I can help to provide them with tutoring targeted to their needs.

In May of 2015 I graduated from the University of Connecticut with my bachelors in Special Education after completing my student teaching in an urban school district in Connecticut. I then continued on to complete an internship in Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports leading to ultimately receiving my Masters in Special Education from the University of Connecticut in May of 2016. I now work as a Special Education Teacher for students with learning disabilities grades K-2.
