University of Tampa
Hello! I have been playing drums since the age of 6 and have performed professionally since the age of 10. I was fortunate enough to attend University of Tampa on a music scholarship and received a degree in music with a concentration in percussion. I can play and teach all styles of music. I love teaching students how to play because I can help them to express themselves through the instrument. I use a system of teaching based on developing the students own sound on the drum set and to become well versed in as many musical settings as possible. I have an incredible amount of experience that has helped me evolve as a teacher through my own trials and tribulations.

I believe I help students' writing by helping them to organize and arrange their thoughts in an effective way.

I worked for two and a half years one on one with Dr. Parssinen and was influenced heavily by his experience and techniques. I have incorporated theses into my tutoring.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
