I am the owner, author, illustrator of a coloring book. I have sold multiple paintings and photographs online. I have taught classrooms full of private studio sessions on the fundamentals of art and basic introduction to color theory for adults and children. I love making creative things just happen.
I can guide you to see things from an artistic perspective when taking on photography as well as painting. I'm easy going and love to laugh and enjoy the learning process from the teaching experience. Always intrigued with questions and always have an answer.
I have been published multiple times for photography as well as illustration, and an Art Donor in Boston, MA for Fine Art. And I have studied Photography, Art History, Art Theory, Drawing, Painting, Graphic Design--I live for art.
I can show examples of diagram drawings with pencil, charcoals, or ink in most subject matters from figurative to abstract even technical design. I have taught students from 4-14 yrs old how to follow a drawing and use the proper techniques either shadings, line drawing, stipple, cross hatching.
I have an award from the Academic Olympics of a Bronze medal in drawing of a Panda Bear that was published in a magazine using all the techniques listed above. I also show amazing encouragement in teaching art to my subjects because creativity is not just a talent it is able to be taught with the proper guidelines.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have taught acrylic painting on canvas to adults as well as children for over 5 years. I have an original painting permanently donated and hanging with a plaque at Boston Medical Center. I can help produce a completed painting with a student during an average 2 hour session. I can provide lesson plans for the student to choose from that peeks there greatest interest. Can work on artwork from realistic to abstract as well as impressionistic to modern artworks.
Studying presently "Seeing through Photographs" online with the Museum of Modern Art. (MoMA) I teach sunrise at the beach sessions during the summer on capturing the perfect colors through the lens. Capable of showing students proper camera handling, shooting, balance and compositions also able to guide them in furthering digital photography as more than a hobby and provide an avenue towards artistic competitions. I myself have a medal in photography from a contest.
