My specialty is in individual tutoring, dedicating myself to helping students understand their subjects by adding to their strategy base and building confidence in their work and in themselves. I use many sample problems and apply math concepts to real-world situations. I utilize techniques to assist students in retaining their math facts and employ games and other hands-on materials to solidify their learning and of course, make it fun!

I have a BSEE and MSEE and have spent many years applying math to real life research problems. When a student says "When will I ever use this?" I can tell them.

Amazing

Devorah was very insightful, she picked up right away on the lack of fundamental knowledge and had a plan together with in 10 min of the first session.. my student who went to her (I sat in on the session) was amazed at how easy the knowledge was and she said it's much harder to understand in high school.. we will be returning to Devorah throughout the year ! Well worth over the 50 dollar charge!
