I enjoy helping students excel. I am a recent college graduate that has been tutoring for more than 10 years. I have a gift of patience and understanding when it comes to teaching others. I have participated in volunteer tutoring while in college and tutored in after school programs when I was in grade school. I enjoy teaching and helping anyone learn the skills that are needed in order to move to the next level.

I have helped many college students and professionals overcome obstacles and navigate challenges to meet their goals. I've tutored both children and adults in accounting, math, tax, and finance classes. I've also trained workers how to use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

As a tutor I leverage knowledge and experiences to develop a person-centered approach to helping students. I first gain an understanding of what is the class requiring, then what is the student’s level of understanding, and finally I develop a road map to close the gap.

I have a BS in accounting from Xavier University of Louisiana and am currently studying for the CPA exam.
