About Dr. Patrick

My passion for teaching stems from my Christian-based calling as a minister of the gospel and over 15 years of teaching experience as a university professor within the higher education. I have engaged in tutoring/teaching in a variety of settings (i.e., academic, ministerial, etc.). Witnessing the intellectual growth of others is clearly the driving force that motivates my interest in sharing knowledge with others.

My experience within the discipline of sociology stems from the following: a) a PhD in Juvenile Justice (which is a component of Sociology), b) a Master's degree in Sociology, and c) over 15 years of teaching experience within the discipline of sociology. This includes numerous courses such as Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of Education, Social Problems, etc.

Interestingly, I have discovered that the systemic process of providing instruction often results in a mutual experience of learning that is appreciated by both the student as well as the teacher.

Over 15 years of teaching experience within higher education. This includes courses that require the use of statistics (i.e., research methods, statistics, etc.) as well as a number of research projects and scholarly publications.
I look forward to hearing from those who are interested.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
