I have taught pharmacy technician students at trade school, and tutored family members and friends in math subjects. I enjoy keeping up with math methods and teaching those concepts to students needing and willing to learn them. Mathematics requires a student's attempt to solve problems on their own before being shown the proper solution, so I encourage this procedure. I am available to teach on most weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. My fee is $35 per hour. I desire successful outcomes for every student, and will spend the necessary time to accomplish this.
My grades in all mathematics courses in high school and college were almost always A's. Since graduation I have often indulged in refreshing myself in those concepts learned in school. I feel very competent in teaching concepts needed to know in algebra (high school or college) and pre-calculus
I am available to be contacted at home by phone or in person at my designated meeting place for initial contact, and to find out a student's individual needs, problems, schedule, etc.
