Hi! My name is Anthony. I'm originally from Atlanta, GA. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia State University in 2014 and I am currently completing a Master of Science degree in Biology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. I have over 5 years of experience in tutoring in all biological sciences including General Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Immunology, Virology, Biochemistry to name a few.
What I love about teaching and tutoring is seeing the light bulb switch on in my students eyes! I personally know the struggle of wrestling with difficult topics while trying to to get that all important A. My style of teaching not only aims to help you learn the information, but to UNDERSTAND the concepts that back up that information so that you can build on your knowledge base and succeed!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am currently completing a Master of Biological Sciences degree, in which Biostatistical Techniques was a required. I was one of the few students who not only obtained an A in the class, I tutored my fellow classmates with self-made materials such as charts, graphs, and carefully broken-down explanations regarding the circumstances and uses of different types of statistical tests, p-values, and interpretations of data.
