Bible Studies

I have studied and read the Bible as well as supplementary and secondary materials, not to mention listening to sermons, for many years. I am familiar with the distinction between the Nephilim and the fallen angels. I know who Melchizedek, the King of Salem, was, and why it was he who broke bread and shared wine with Abram. Melchizedek made the covenant with Abram and, in so doing, changed his name to Abraham. The 12 tribes of Jacob followed in the covenant of Abraham, but it was prophesied that the sons of Jacob would be taken into captivity. The Babylonian Captivity is less understood than the Egyptian Captivity, just as the War of 1812 is less understood than the Revolutionary War. Returning to the subject, I understand and appreciate the nuances of translations from Hebrew to Greek and then to Latin and English. I also firmly understand the importance of Jesus coming to fulfill the prophecy of the Book of Isaiah. I truly enjoy the Old Testament, in particular the Books of Ezra and Nehemiah, in which the Jews return to the Holy Land from Babylon and build a wall around the Holy Temple.
