About Grace

I just recently graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University with a dual degree in English and Musical Theater. I am now pursuing my masters degree in English, also at Tulane University.

I earned a 2220 on my SAT's (750 Math, 760 verbal) and a 34 on my ACT's. I also received a 740 on my World History SAT II, a 750 on my English SAT II and a 760 on my Math 2 SAT II. In addition, I earned a 5 on both my English Lit and AB Calc AP and a 4 on my US history and World History AP. I also am fairly proficient at college level music theory.

My skills definitely are aligned towards the humanities, in particular writing has always been my strong point. Math, however, has always come naturally to me, and I could likely help with anything up to basic calculus. I edit essays for other college students. I also often lead study sessions for my peers.

I have received scores above the 95th percentile in every English test I've ever taken, but I also enjoy helping others improve their English skills. From a young age my father, a former college newspaper editor, taught me the importance of editing.

I am outgoing and great at bringing kids out of their shell. I am both qualified and dedicated to helping students achieve their best.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
