Hello! I’m a physics student from MIT currently taking a break from school, with nearly five years of college coursework in mathematics and science (including two years of dual enrollment during high school). Some of the MIT courses I’ve completed include Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Radiation Biophysics, and Advanced Classical Mechanics. I also scored 790/800 on the SAT Math section and 800/800 on the (now-discontinued) Math II and Physics SAT Subject Tests. I’m comfortable tutoring students in math anywhere from middle school fundamentals to SAT math to college topics like differential equations and linear algebra.
I’ve been tutoring on and off for four years, working with both high school and college undergraduate students. Most of my tutoring has been one-on-one—either privately or through school programs—and I adapt my approach to each student’s learning style and goals. I always encourage feedback and continually adjust to find what works best for the individual learner. Overall, I emphasize problem-solving techniques and conceptual understanding, as opposed to memorizing steps or formulas.
I believe that mistakes are an essential part of learning—not something to avoid. I aim to create a space where students feel safe making mistakes, asking questions, and exploring ideas. I’m available for tutoring either online or in person at a local library. I’m excited to support students in building confidence, curiosity, and lasting skills in math!
