Bio

I am a life long New Orleanian (with the exception of my engineering undergrad). I love math and science and I always have. Even in high school and college, I helped tutor students in order to advance their academic priorities. Over the last 10 years, I have taught at the UNO College of Engineering in an adjunct faculty capacity (primarily sophmore level courses).

Even in high school and college, I helped tutor students in order to advance their academic priorities. I enjoy helping people understand math and science concepts and have traditionally received high marks from my students during end of year evaluations.

Undergraduate Engineering requires 4 semesters of calculus which requires the mastery of all previous topics (such as algebra, trigonomety, etc). In my masters and doctoral programs, I furthered my mathmatical education through both course work and doctoral research.

I have taught both Statics and Fluid mechanics to students at UNO over approximately the last 10 years. In addition, I practice engineering as both a professional civil engineer and expert witness on a daily basis.

My goal is to work with students that want to learn and want addresses their weaknesses. If you think I may be of assistance, please reach out to me and we can determine if we are a good fit for each other.

I have a PhD in Civil Engineering from Tulane University with specialization in Hydraulics. I have been in private practice for 16 years while teaching primarily statics but also fluid mechanics at the University of New Orleans as Adjunct Faculty. I have been engaged as an expert witness on 3 occasions for hydraulic engineering and am currently negotiating additional engagements on that front. I will be teaching at UNO in the spring (2019) as well.
