If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Currently, I am an English language arts instructional coach at my school and I work intensely with students and their teachers from grades Kindergarten through 8th grade on reading comprehension and writing strategies. I am a Common Core leading educator in Louisiana which means when teachers at my school have questions about language arts standards or questions about an effective way to teach their content, they ask me for clarification and advice. I have expertise in many strategies from close reading to increase comprehension to utilizing a pre-writing monster web to enhance a student's final draft in essay writing. The students I tutor utilize the strategies that I guide them through during tutoring lessons back at their schools in their daily English language arts classes.
