Recent college grad, passion for teaching various subjects

I am a recent graduate of Longwood University in Virginia with a bachelor's of science in Anthropology and minors in criminal justice, outdoor education and environmental studies. I was a Division 1 scholarship athlete and graduated with a 3.3 GPA. I have had experience testing well in the SAT, ACT and GRE. I grade school I was heavily involved in the gifted and talented programs as well as athletics and am well acquainted with process that awaits those seeking higher education.

I have had various jobs in state parks and museums teaching the general public on subjects ranging from wildlife and the environment to anthropology, Native American history and archaeology. I am comfortable with students of all ages and levels. I look forward to teaching in a more 1 on 1 atmosphere and helping students get the most out of their scholastic and athletic endeavors.

I majored in Anthropology in college with a near 4.0 subject GPA, worked as a professional archaeologist for a short time and minored in environmental studies as well as executing my own environmental field research presented at a national conference.

I have always excelled at reading from a young age and tested very well in standardized tests including the SAT, ACT and GRE regarding reading and language skills. I possess unending patience for helping those who struggle with reading and aided many of my teammates and classmates who struggled in college.

I was a regional track and field champion twice in high school and a Division 1, scholarship track and cross country runner in college.
