I was the director of Class Act Tutoring, L.L.C. for ten years, and I taught a pilot program for the Masonic Dyslexic Learning Program for two years. Lindsay has been a tremendous help to my 8 year old. Not only have his reading skills increased, but also his confidence. I'm very pleased with the improvements we've made, and continue to make.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in three years, with a 3.9 GPA, and successfully completed 12 hours toward a Master's Degree with a 4.0. My GPA is reflective of my own studious habits. In fact, one of my first classes in college was a Study Habits course, which was a requirement of the degree program. I pass on these study skills to all the children I have taught past and present.
