I love to teach because I love to learn! I am graduating cum laude this year with two bachelor's degrees (Neuroscience and Public Health). Because of my dedication to excellence, I have been offered a seat at a prestigious dental school, which I will attend in the fall. I want to share my knowledge with others. I won't give you the answers, but I will definitely work with you to learn the material in a way that you can understand!
I have five years of experience tutoring and teaching dozens kids of all ages and for all subjects. I have experience with private tutoring as well as teaching classes in and out of the home. During those five years, I have helped many students who were very behind in their classes score well above average on their tests and papers. I also have helped them with school projects, research papers, and practicing for the ACT. I have tutored students at my university's success center for about two semesters now, and my appointments are always booked! Students ask for me by name. Academic advisers, as well as other students, refer students who are struggling to me. My experience ranges from helping five-year-olds with their homework to working out mechanisms with college students in organic chemistry.
My specialties include Science, Reading, and English. I also teach Math up to the eighth grade level. I also have much experience teaching college students in their science classes, such as Organic Chemistry, Statistics, Psychology, and many Biology and Anatomy courses. I am also an excellent writer and proofreader. I did great on the ACT and the DAT, and have many tips and tricks to help students with these tests, as well as the SAT, the HiSet, and other tests.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
