In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have been sewing since I was in middle school. I have made prom dresses, dresses, shirts, pants, not only for myself but also for my kids. In addition to clothing, I have made window treatments, pillows, dust ruffles. I currently have been designing and producing custom quilts of various sizes and styles.

I starting playing volleyball in middle school and continued into college until the program was dropped by the university. I spent time at volleyball camp and was a member of the USVBA. I played setter and was a strong left handed surprise when not setting.
