I earned my Bachelors's Degree in Physics. I have started my career as a teacher with middle school science and 4th-grade math in North Carolina. Quickly after two years of teaching experience, I started teaching math courses for 6th-grade level and SAT. While I was earning these teaching experiences, I also mentored high school students. I became actively involved with my passion for education and working with children. After I moved to Maryland, I continued my career as a math specialist in an elementary school. Two years later, I have worked with 4th-grade students, and the following year I have taught ecology for K-5th grade. Then, I have taught earth and space science for two years and STEM class for a half year.
During my career, I have mentored 3rd-12th grade for various math and science competitions such as Science Olympiad, MOEMS, Perennial math, Noetic math, etc. My students won so many medals and trophies from these competitions. I have also created my own math tournament for elementary and middle school students in 2019. Schools competed with each other in a friendly atmosphere.
I am holding 1-6 grade elementary education, 7-12 grade secondary math, and 7-12 grade physical science teaching certifications.
