Hi. I've had a passion for learning for as long as I can remember; however, learning for me was more complex than reviewing notes and paying attention. I often struggled with basic subjects due to numerous learning disabilities and being multiply neurodivergent. However, after working with a tutor, who taught the material in a way my brain could process, school became much easier, and I went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Science and a minor in Psychology with a 3.5 GPA as well as a master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a 3.8 GPA.

Given the benefits tailored learning had, I made it my mission to help others like me by curating learning plans for the students I tutor while maintaining a positive learning environment. So, in 2015, I decided to make my passion for writing and reading into a part-time job, and I began tutoring students in English, Literature, and Essay Writing. Within a couple of years, this grew to encompass numerous subjects including History and basic math/science for students in K-College (ages 6+).

I've tutored in spelling, grammar, phonics, government/politics, vocabulary, history, elementary math, elementary science, English, literature, essay writing, political science, proofreading, psychology, and much more. I've also worked with students of various backgrounds and learning needs with the goal to diversify learning and provide alternatives to the "one size fits all" approach of education while maintaining a positive learning environment.

To create the best experience, I ask that, if comfortable, students disclose their preferred learning environment (video chat/phone call/messaging), learning style (visual/auditory/hands-on learning), and any areas of difficulty. Further, I welcome any supplemental learning materials found useful in teaching the student. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or to schedule a session, and thank you for considering me to help make your learning experience as positive as possible, I cannot wait to help you succeed!
