I was drafted to teach at Saint Joseph Seminary College by the then Dean, to teach Latin but eventually also taught Bible and Practical Math. Was one of the members of the Learning Center and helped many students with Philosophy and Liberal Arts subjects. So I taught and tutored. What I love about both duties is restoring confidence to students that feel strangers to learning and education.
At Catholic University of America (at which time I was a Catholics monk!!) I received a full scholarship and developed a love of languages and Linguistics. I am at home in Math/Science and in the Liberal Arts

I scored 97% on the Math exam for Grad School, I've always enjoyed Math. My undergrad major was Computer Science.
I taught Procatical Math at Saint Joseph Seminary College.

My work career included Statistician and Programming work for US Bank. While at USDA and INternational Paper I learned about Genetics, specifically Crop and Tree Genetics. As for Philosophy, my 5 years teaching and tutoring at Saint Joseph Seminary College revived my interest. I had helped my wife get her Master's in Philosophy when we lived in St Louis and the major for all students at the seminary is Philosophy so that was often what they came to me for help with. Even within the last 10 years or so I"ve taken college level Microbiology, Biology, and Chemistry (prior to working for USDA)

Because I am a Biblical Studies graduate of the Catholic University of America I took Hebrew, Greek, Syriac, and Aramaic. I had several years of Latin in high school. I am better at Ecclesiastical Latin than Classical but I can tutor Classical. I could get a good reference from the current Latin teacher at the seminary.

Anyone who wants helps and wants someone who loves learning but didn't really like school (!) should at least contact me. I never looked at the student assessments from my college teaching but my wife did and said they were excellent as did the Dean. Many students stayed in touch even after college just to ask me questions and have me l
