Greetings, My name is Reana, a graduate from UNO in 2008 with B.A in Anthropology. My interests and areas of most expertise vary from biology, anthropology, music, psychology, basic math, college algebra, science and anatomy. I am 36 years of age with no children. I like to encourage others to get past the road blocks in learning. Math used to be a road block for myself, but with many years at persistent, hard-work, I now am able to help tutor in that area as well. Currently, I help my mother in her college algebra studies.
I attended Our Lady of Holy Cross College for one semester of graduate school in counseling to find I would rather encourage and help others in a more academic setting. My continued areas of work include, but are not limited to, proper essay writing, spelling, animal and human medicine, music, sound and speech. Most recently, I worked online to become a Registered Behavior Technician working with Autistic children. I hope that this can help to shed some light on the sort knowledge I embody. If I can not understand something, I find it best to collaborate and build a team effort to better understand, thus creating a solution to any known problem.
Science has been my forte of knowledge as long as I can remember due to an ongoing interest in this subject. I excelled on science subjects throughout my formative years in high school; I then proceeded to major in Biology my first year of college, but that changed from one Anthropology class.
I majored and graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from UNO. This subject opened my eyes to a whole world of understanding human beings and behavior with a cross-cultural lens; objectively speaking.
With regards to anatomy, nutrition and psychology, I completed all pre-requisites necessary for nursing school to later find that I am happiest when I can encourage or help others overcome obstacles or challenges. This is what has led me to the road of becoming a successful tutor. Psychology is another subject that has held a lot of my attention and still continues too. I find that material fascinating and useful in everyday life.
Hello, I am hoping to help tutor students with difficulties in the subjects I have mentioned.
Feel free to contact me to schedule lessons.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
