Louisiana Tech Univ - Ruston, LA (Spanish)
I am 27 years old and a native Spanish speaker. I graduated with a double major in Journalism and Spanish from Louisiana Tech University. I tutored elementary students in Spanish and English as a college student and thoroughly enjoyed it! I love being able to help a student understand something they are having difficulty with and instilling that confidence in them! I love tutoring, it's a passion of mine and am currently enrolling to get my certification to be a Montessori teacher. I am also very involved in my church - where I have the honor of teaching our kids the weekly Bible story and leading them in worship.
I received outstanding grades in English as a high school and college student and received my degree in Journalism. After college I completed a one year ministry internship at a church in Oklahoma City where I obtained my Ministry Certification with a concentration in adult and youth ministry.
I have my own Etsy shop where I hand make a lot of different products! I am also a part-time photographer and videographer! I absolutely love what I do and love having the flexibility to be able to make my own schedule.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule some lessons with me! I greatly looked forward to hearing from you! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
