As a teacher of 37 years of teaching mathematics in public and private schools and at the college level, I feel I have the experience, knowledge, and resources to help your child to be successful in mathematics. Contacting former teachers will be done only with written instructions the parents. Payment is due weekly. Adjustments will be made for missed lessons by the tutor and the parents. Instruction will be one-on-one unless permission is given by parents.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have taught a finite class for Northwestern State University as an adjunct instructor. This was a night class which consisted of 3 hours per night, two nights per week for 8 weeks. This course was one of my favorite college classes to teach as it can be very useful in everyday life for the students.
I have taught Geometry in high school and from grades 6-8. I have also attended conferences and workshops on Geometry.
I have taught Algebra I and II for most of the 37 years in my education career. These classes are the ground work for any upper level math class above algebra II to include college classes.
My experience would be proof of my ability to teach linear algebra.
