Hi! I love teaching and learning! I'm a KY-Certified Educator (ESL, French, Literacy) and ex-Parisian with 18+ years experience as a classroom instructor and tutor. A KY-native and 14-year resident of Paris, France, my personal super-powers are: Love of Learning, Curiosity, Kindness, Gratitude, and Hope. Teaching and learning are my absolute favorite activities, and I love connecting with students and empowering them to succeed. I am calm, patient, good-humored, and professional. While in France, I taught students ages 12-18 and worked as a corporate memo writer and project manager in several publishing houses and a large international law firm. Since returning to KY in 2013, I serve Fayette County Public Schools as Teacher of French, Literacy Interventionist, and Certified Substitute Teacher.

I am fully state-certified in ESL, French, and Literacy by the KY Education Practices and Standards Board (EPSB). I hold a graduate certificate in Behavioral Mental Health and am currently completing an MFA in Creative Writing.

I offer custom-tailored learning strategies to suit your needs and am both a trauma-informed educator and emotional literacy coach (SEL Social Emotional Learning). I love words, writing, and reading, and adore sharing my love of learning with my students. I look forward to supporting you!
