I have a great passion for learning and helping others reach their potential. I would be delighted to help you achieve the grades you want. My goal as a tutor is to help you gain a better understanding of the material you are learning in school. We will dive into the material a little more in-depth than time typically allows in the classroom. I hope I can be of assistance to you. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am currently teaching 4 college courses at Murray State University. I am also seeking my doctoral degree. I am qualified because of bachelor's and master's degrees as well as my experience teaching college and tutoring area students.
Volleyball is a passion of mine. I played from 2nd grade through high school. I played traveling volleyball from 4th grade through high school. I have played in state championships in Kentucky as well as national championships for club volleyball. I played in over 25 states against some of the greatest players in the country.
I started coaching grade school volleyball with my dad when I was in high school. I later coached JV at a prep school in Albuquerque and assisted for a brief time at a nearby high school in Southern Illinois. I love the game and would love to teach or coach it!
