I have always loved to learn and help others learn. I have an degree in Elementary Education for Northern Kentucky University as well as a minor in Mathematics. I graduated on the Deans List and understand the power of knowledge.
I was a nanny for 10 years and helped the child learn to read as well as many other tasks through out the years. I also have over 100 hours in student teaching hours logged. I have been around all different age groups and assisted in teaching every subject to a wide variety of skill levels. I enjoyed every minute of it. I think helping someone grow academically is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
I understand that there are many different techniques to learning and understanding math and am willing to help the student in the best way for them. I am eager to work with your child to help them build techniques for solving each problem as well as the confidence that they can accomplish the task.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
