Hello! I'm a graduate student hoping to work with students in math, French, or psychology. I am enrolled in an Clinical Psychology M.S. and have a a B.S. in Psychology with a Math and French double minor. For the past 7 years, I have tutored middle school, high school, and college students in most levels of math, a variety of areas in psychology, and all levels of French. While in high school, I would work with students after school and over the summer. Since my first year in college, I have been a tutor for the local middle school, offering academic assistance during study halls in any subject.

My passion for tutoring comes from helping students to believe in their abilities and in sharing with them the passions to be found in these subjects. To me, there is nothing more satisfying then seeing a student's face light up once the idea finally "clicks" and they become enthusiastic and ready to tackle new challenges. As such, my style focuses on building students' confidence so that they can find the motivation to ask questions when issues arise and to continue to work through them.

I have always found math fun, so I've continued it in my collegiate education, focusing on its application to psychology. From Pre-Algebra to Calculus, I am confident tutoring most subjects covered throughout middle school and high school, in addition to undergraduate level Statistics.

As a graduate student in psychology, I have taken numerous courses in the field, with a focus on abnormal and clinical psychology. I was a teaching assistant for various psychology courses: Research Methods in Psychology, Statistical Methods in Psychology, and Foundations of Psychology, where my responsibilities included helping out struggling students and evaluating their work. I completed two internships, one at a residential treatment facility for at-risk youth, and the other at a suicide prevention center in Paris. My master's program seeks to train master's level clinicians, but also integrates significant research opportunity, of which I take full advantage as a Graduate Assistant.

I've been studying French since I started middle school, and have continued my study of it ever since, consistently being at the top of the class. In the Spring of 2018, I completed an internship program in Paris, where I continued my decade of education in French language and culture.

I look forward to helping you meet your academic goals!
