I am a junior at Morehead State University. My major is Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. I worked in the YMCA for four years and worked with ages 6 weeks to 13 years old. I have also babysat for family and friends for almost 10 years now. I have helped my mom in her classroom when I am out of school. In her classroom, I worked one-on-one with students for math, literacy, English, spelling, and science.

I have also worked with students in small groups for math, spelling and reading. In another setting, I worked with a third grader on his spelling and reading.

I am going to school to be a teacher and I cannot wait to work with students on the subjects they need help with. I have seen students in the private and public school setting and I have helped children from both. I have worked with all different ages through babysitting, but also for tutoring by helping in classrooms and on the side. Personally, I learn better through hands-on activities and that is how I like to tutor students.
