Literature

I am an avid reader, therefore I am familiar with more than a few authors and their writings, both classical and modern. I currently teach reading and comprehension skills to middle school students who are below grade readers using the Scholastic Read 180 program. I take great pride when I see them start to like to read and become grade level or above grade level readers.

Brings a great attitude and understanding for our student each meeting!

Working slowly and patiently on grammar with our student who needs practice in basic skills. Its nice to hear Cheri talk about books she's read that are interesting to and read by our student. Makes for good connection and trust.
