I have taught all of these subjects in the last three years. I have a valid Teaching Certificate on file with the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board.

I am also a Proctor for ACT, I am familiar with all of the latest wrinkles in the ever changing test. I am ready to help you prepare to make your first attempt at the test a home run, or to help you squeeze that extra 5-10 points if you are re-taking the test.

I have experience working with students who need a little extra attention to achieve a positive learning outcome. I work regularly with students that have ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and English Language Learners. I have worked successfully with students ranging from 6th grade to 12th, and my current teaching position is with Freshmen, and Juniors in High School.

I have a varied background of practical working experience in Science before teaching from radio wave propagation in the U.S. Army (4 years), to Chemist for a distillery in Frankfort (10 years).

Study skills tutor

David worked with Caleb to help improve study skills, note taking and exam prep. He was very organized and focused. I believe this gave Caleb confidence and helped build trust. David was especially effective in assisting Caleb sharpen time management as well organizing notes for studying. We will definitely ask for David again and will recommend him to our friends.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor.

My son, whose normally shy, really warmed up to David. They've only met twice and I've noticed an improvement already on the way he solves wording issues. I value David's opinon for he is quite knowledgeable and patient about readers with dyslexia. I can't wait to see how my son blossoms the rest of the school year with David's help.
