I have always been adept at proper English grammar usage ever since I was a child. I have studied Japanese for 3 years and have even lived in Fukuoka, Japan and studied abroad for 3 months. I'm also preparing to go for my masters in English and Japanese education.
I have freelance tutored previously while working on my bachelor's in college. From that, I have discovered I enjoy teaching and helping people understand material. I am patient and understanding. I realize some people have a harder time with subjects and need extra help and I am willing to take the time to help them.
I am also excellent with most computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) I can help people learn these programs and even teach the basics of working a computer in general.
I look forward to helping my students learn and grow in their subjects.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
