Prior to last fall, I taught high school science for five years. I am currently a PhD student, finishing my last year of coursework. I am well versed in reading, writing, and grammar and can provide help with any of these areas at all grade levels. I have had much experience with and enjoy proofreading papers, creating resumes, and helping with college application essays.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have my Masters in Teaching and a current Georgia teaching certificate with an elementary education endorsement.
I am a doctoral student at University of Kentucky, where I publicly speak in both classes that I take and teach on a daily basis. I taught secondary science for six years. I have taken both undergraduate and graduate public speaking courses. I have excelled in every interview in which I have had and have never walked away from an interview without receiving a job offer. I feel as though said points qualify me for the job at hand and very much appreciate your time and consideration.
