Since 1988 I've concepted, designed and produced creative in all areas of traditional and Interactive marketing. Working on traditional and Interactive strategies, and creative for national accounts like Procter & Gamble, Cintas, Abbott Nutrition, Bayer HealthCare, U.S. Bank, Sears, Hill-Rom and Roto-Rooter, as well as local and regional clients like Miami Valley Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Bob Sumerel Tire, bigg’s Hypermarkets and United Dairy Farmers, I feel well equipped to help you not only learn something about the software programs mentioned, but achieve great results in your creative challenges.
Currently, and for the past 6 1/2 years, I have worked on contract for large Interactive and traditional ad agencies, as well as some of my own clients from my home office. This offers me the opportunity to be flexible with scheduling days or evenings. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Shortly after it's release in 1992 I began switching from QuarkXpress to InDesign, giving me experience in both software programs.
In 1989 the agency I was working for purchased one copy of the very first release of Photoshop for the Art department. I've been working with the program to retouch photos ever since, and since around 1996 create page layouts for the web.
I have been working exclusively on Macs since the late 80s.
Microsoft Word, first released under another name in 1983, is a necessary tool to that I have used to create corporate document shells for companies to use as a standard of communication since 1990.
In 1995 Netscape released the browser version 3.0 Gold, and at that point I was hooked and began to design and code my first web site using Photoshop and Netscape as the tools. Since then I have designed everything for the web from web sites to Facebook tabs to mobile sites. For clients such as P&G, Conagra, Smuckers, & Abbott Labs.
