Born in the great state of Kentucky, John David G. came out of the womb ready to play for the Wildcats!
His father, John David Sr, had him in basketball camps since age 5 and playing weekends at the national "dirt-bowl" in Louisville, Kentucky during the summers. He trained with NCAA Champions from the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville respectively. John was mentored by All Americans Kyle Macy, Lancaster Gordon, Milt Wagner as well. During the summer of 1989 John was a practice player with the Kentucky Wildcats and was a walk on until cut that fall. However he remained friends with many of the players and played compatibly with the current wildcats as a practice player and pick up games.
After he was cut he decided to Walk On the Wildcats football as a running back and placekicker / punter. Two years later, John moved to southern California while in the United States Navy while also pursuing a career in Hollywood. When not Acting, John is passionate about "Giving Back" his basketball knowledge and coaching this Millennial generation the knowledge he learned through his time in Kentucky and its All Americans and Champions.
