Kentucky Christian University (History and Bible)
I graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a double major in History and Biblical Studies. I am twenty-two years old and I am currently working on getting my teaching certificate, which I will receive around August. I have a great passion for all forms of history, but I especially enjoy the Classical Era, the Medieval Era, and the history of Europe as a whole. Despite this, I have much knowledge in several other areas of history, as well. I am also very capable in how to find credible sources for research papers and assignments; I know what kind of sources will be helpful, and what kind of sources a student should avoid. In the field of history, I am skilled enough to tutor students in an undergraduate program and any schooling prior to college. Despite my love of history, I also have a great enjoyment for the field of mathematics. My father is a genius in mathematics, and he passed on much of his knowledge, understanding, and enjoyment of the subject to me. While it is not the subject that I am the best at, that subject being history, I am more than capable at instructing students in Algebra 1 or lower.
My qualifications in history are found in my undergraduate degree, which is in the field of history. I have studied many areas of history for my degree and many more in my free time. Because of this, I have become very skilled in finding good, credible sources, as well as knowing how to find primary sources, which are a historians best friend. This has also helped me to find the most effective methods in remembering important historical information both for test recollection, and just for general remembrance.
I would be more than happy to assist anyone having any kind of trouble in the areas I am knowledgeable in, and I am sure I can help you to better comprehend the material not just so that you can remember it for the test, but also so that you remember and comprehend it for the rest of your life. Knowledge is a wonderful thing, and I am more than happy to help spread it around. I graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a double major in History and Biblical Studies. I am qualified to tutor in the Classical Era of history because that was a large chunk of the learning in my undergraduate degree. I took Western Civilization I, which is a class that goes through the beginning of history to the Colonial Era, which means the entire Classical Era was studied. A more in depth class I took was the History of Ancient Rome, which look at the entire history of Rome with great detail. In addition to the second class mentioned, I also went on an academic trip with my professor and peers to view and study the historic sites in Italy and Greece. This includes, but is not limited to, the Colosseum of Rome, the Roman Forum, the ruins of Pompeii, the ruins of Olympia, the Pantheon, the Parthenon, the Acropolis, and the Theatre of Epidaurus. The trip significantly added to my knowledge of the Classical Era.
