Though I have not yet spent a tremendous amount of time with Fidel, I can already tell that I am going to enjoy my lessons with him. Fidel was very friendly and easy to talk with, and never hesitated to slow down and explain in detail the intricacies of the Spanish language. Additionally, he adapted his lesson plan to my needs in order to ensure that I got the exact help that I needed. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn Spanish!
Mr. M. is very intelligent, conscientious, and helpful. He also has an excellent command of both the Spanish and English languages. I feel very fortunate to have found a Spanish tutor with his qualifications, and look forward to receiving future lessons.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated from the University of Louisville with a Master degree in Spanish. I speak, read and write fluent Spanish and I'm also a certified Spanish interpreter for Hardin County. I have worked as a substitute teacher in Ft. Knox and at present time, I work as a social worker for the State of Kentucky. I have experience in teaching phonetics (pronunciation) and would like to teach to prospective students. I can teach grammar and reading by providing moderate, intermediate or advance teaching techniques.
