I have also been accepted to medical school, where I plan to apply my knowledge of mathematics to help me succeed in my studies and future career.

In addition to my strong academic background, I have worked on similar online tutoring websites for 6 months specializing in a range of mathematics subjects, including Calc 1-3, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Numerical Analysis, and Discrete Mathematics. I have a deep understanding of these subjects and have consistently helped students improve their grades and succeed in their courses.

I pride myself on my patience, excellent communication skills, and ability to adapt my teaching style to the needs of each individual student. My approach is always positive and encouraging, and I work with students to complete practice problems, guide them where they need support, and tailor new exercises to target their areas of growth.

In my time as a tutor, I have received an average of 4.9 stars over the course of over 75 total tutoring hours. I have received positive feedback from clients for my dedication and effectiveness as a tutor.

I am seeking opportunities to further my tutoring experience and would be thrilled to work with more students as a tutor. If you are in need of assistance in any of the subjects I have listed, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am committed to helping students achieve their full potential and would be honored to be a part of their academic journey.

Mathematica

Formally, I am a Certified Wolfram Technology Associate at the Mathematica Student Level. I have also used mathematica professionally as a student researcher publishing several Wolfram Demonstration projects with my team. I am comfortable approaching the software from the perspective as a programming language and as a high-tech calculator and visualization software for use in mathematics.

Homeschool

Calculus,

Calculus

I have a lot of experience in Calculus, as I have taken Calculus 1-2-3(multivariable) and 4 (differential Equations) and passed all of them with an A! I have also worked on a research project in the math department of my school where we dealt with modeling Partial Differential Equations. Needless to say, I am very comfortable with all forms and fashions of calculus, and can't wait to help you!
Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Prealgebra, Precalculus

Math

ACT Math,

ACT Math

I have taken the ACT officially a total of 6 times ranging from 7th grade all the way to my Junior Year of High School. My most recent score was a 35 composite with a 35 in Math. Having actually been tutored in ACT Math myself, and having made the journey from a 20->35 in my Math subscore, I am VERY familiar with the tips, tricks, and everything you can do to take the test to your full potential. I would love to pass these strategies on to you and help your college acceptance process!!

Discrete Math,

Discrete Math

My college major is Mathematics with a concentration in "Fundamentals of Analysis and Discrete Mathematics". Discrete Math is a course that is foundational to my major, and the core concepts of logical statements and Proof techniques underlie every math class that I have taken since. I passed this course with a high A in Fall 2020, and would be happy to help you in your Discrete Math journey.
Finite Math,

Finite Math

I have taken courses in Discrete Math, Algebraic Systems, Graph Theory, (passed each with an A) where finite structures are studied, some with a focus in counting problems, and logical deduction and proofs. As this is the core of my major, I am familiar with almost all levels of finite mathematical structures.

patient and great teacher

I was having some trouble with linear algebra and he was able to not only work through it with me but teach me tricks along the way to get the answer a bit faster. Great guy all around as well. Would definitely recommend.

Super friendly and extremely helpful

Matthew was incredibly helpful! I needed help on a college level math assignment and he was able to answer all of my questions. He also read up on some of the material in advance- truly going above and beyond. I highly recommend him as a tutor! He was not only very knowledgeable, but he was also responsive and flexible a with his time!

Knowledgeable and knows how to teach

I really liked the way Matthew taught. He really wanted me to learn Mathematica, so I could handle the work myself. He was patient and encouraging, pointing me in the right direction. It was a very good session. I got what I needed to complete my assignment.
