I can't wait to be working with you to help you reach your potential.I have a strong educational background in English as a Second Language education with some teaching experience. My philosophy on education is that everyone has the capacity to learn in the right environment, which is why I like to maintain a flexible approach to ESL education tailoring curriculum to each student. This along with the mental attitude that a good teacher gets results from the student not his/her own knowledge lets me gauge student potential without ego, focusing on the student and their learning patterns.
I have experience teaching both children and Adults. And I understand how the modalities differ by age. I always see progress in my students no matter how challenging the subject maybe for them. And in many cases there's just a "hump", if you will, that many student have to get over and once they do learning continues much more smoothly. I believe my job is to get people over that hump.
I believe in an interactive learning environment, that is both fun and challenging. An engaged student is one that is learning.
I hope to be working with you soon and thanks for your consideration

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
