I am an experienced 12 year Special Education Teacher. I am certified to teach K-12 Special Education. I would be willing to tutor students 8th grade and younger.

I have worked with students of all abilities from severe exceptionalities to your average student. I am an award winning teacher (ESU Master Teacher-building level teacher and have been nominated as both Kansas Teacher of the Year at the building level and while at Olathe South I was selected as the Outstanding Teacher For All Award). I love working with kids and find my service in education as rewarding.

I currently co-teach in a 7th grade class and am very familiar with Middle School Math Content. I have also taught Math to students with moderate to severe disabilities.

As a Special Education Teacher reading content is something I teach on a daily basis. I have been trained in various reading strategies/programs.

If you are looking for an experienced teacher to help with retention and pre teaching content I am your guy! Looking to tutor in the summer, but willing to look at tutoring during in the school year as well.
