I was an electrical and software engineer for over 45 years. During this time I also taught Calculus, Trigonometry and Statistics on a part time basis at a Community College. Although I started out as a Math and Physics major in college, I have a BS Electrical Engineering Degree and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. What I enjoy most about mentoring or tutoring is seeing the students experience the "Ah-ha!" moment after I have simplified math concepts.

As an Engineer, I specialized in Digital Communications Testing, which requires a high level of math proficiency. Besides being a part time instructor at a College level, I have mentored several co-workers in the math required to do their jobs. I have assisted my own children in math through High School, College and Graduate School. I have also authored a handful of research papers on various topic, such as Fuzzy Logic and Cellular Demodulation math techniques.
I am excited to get back into math instruction again. Math has always been my passion and I am eager to pass on what I have learned throughout my engineering career and self study. I like to provide the importance of mathematics and the fundamental and historical basis for math concepts.
