I have been tutoring for over 7 years, I have worked in a college in a teaching capacity for about 4 years now. I have worked with students of all ages for over 9 years. I love helping students not hate math. I help them overcome their learning difficulties by giving examples, analogies, or simply rewording what the teacher/professor has said in order to help others understand difficult subjects.! I find teaching math and science to someone who feels reluctant about these subjects a joy and over time they come to understand and appreciate math inside a classroom and outside in life.
I have taken multiple math and science classes. I am knowledgeable in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, single variable calculus, and multiple variable calculus. I am knowledgeable in physics-(classical mechanics and electricity & magnetism). My experience in math and science comes from engineering classes such as Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Circuits, etc.
When talking about math, I know it can be a little abstract and difficult to understand, with science and engineering, math can be understood with real examples. In my experience to tutoring, I have crafted very useful examples or analogies to help students understand difficult concepts
Physics is in everyday life, a good teacher can show this and have the student's experience and reasoning skills to understand mathematical physics, all a good teacher needs is good everyday examples to help the quantitative math that is involved in physics.
I am very eager to help students truly learn, understand, and apply the math and science to everyday life so that the more they understand, the less they have to memorize.
I graduated with my bachelor's degree in 2016 in mechanical engineering and I am currently in my master's program for physics
