Greetings Parents and Students,
I am experienced, patient, and have a wide spectrum of experience in tutoring children and youth. I homeschooled my four daughters, one through grade 12, and other three grade 9. I enjoy one-on-one teaching and tailoring learning strategies based on learning styles. Two of my daughters are on the autism spectrum so I am experienced with various barriers in communication and the different ways children learn, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.
I was a Special Education Para and a School Psychologist Para for the Derby Public Schools in 2015-2016. My education includes a BA in Psychology, an AA in General Studies and 12 credit hours in School Psychology.
Thank you for your consideration,

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
