My experience over the past 23 years has afforded me the opportunity to grow as an instructor, leader, person and build many long- lasting relationships with a variety of students. Through those experiences, I have learned the arts of adaptability, flexibility and organization in an environment that is constantly changing. The nature of the programs I have been involved with have allowed me to work with a variety of students in all different areas. I believe my work ethic, passion for education, communication and leadership skills give me an opportunity to become a well- rounded educator.
Success is a by-product of hard work. In order to become a successful educator I will motivate, mentor, and develop a strong work ethic for my students. I believe I can create an atmosphere for people to set goals, operate with a positive attitude, take pride in the program and give themselves a chance to succeed at the college level. With dedication, pride, and the desire to learn, the opportunities for individuals are endless.
Experiential Learning or a hands on approach is something that is very important. Students must become active and step out of their comfort zone to develop a better learning experience. I believe I can make learning more enjoyable for any student.
