I am currently a student at Ball State University pursuing my undergraduate degree in Mathematics Secondary Education. Throughout my mathematics career, I have tutored students in Algebra 2 honors courses, guided students through a mock SAT exam, as well as helping my peers through Calculus 1 and 2.

I have experience working with children of all ages through my first job, my Taekwondo academy, volunteer work at homeless shelters and the Indianapolis Zoo. I am comfortable helping students of all skill levels but especially enjoy more advanced courses such as high school and college level mathematics courses. I love when students finally have that ah-ha moment and really understand the topic on hand. Tutoring is a very fulfilling experience for me and I would love to take on any student.

My senior year of high school, I was a teacher assistant for my AP Calculus BC teacher, during the hours that he taught Algebra 2 honors students. Throughout watching him teach, and talking to him before and after class hours, I was able to gain insight into the teaching world, and actually decided on my future career with his help. I was able to help students learn the basic concepts and show them different ways to look at problems if they weren't understanding the way he was teaching them in class.
I was also able to help my peers through our Calculus AB and BC courses, equivalent to Calculus 1 and 2, and am proud to say every student in my class received a qualifying score. I also have background in Calculus with helping my friends who were already in college be able to pass their courses and helping them understand at a deeper level.

Overall, I would love to interact with students from all around and be able to help change the lives of students in the way that my teachers have changed mine. It only takes one person, and I believe I can be that person for you or your children. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
